I stayed at this hotel that had lovely hardwood floors in the room, but some areas like the old bathroom had peeling plaster. Although the bathroom was small, it was well presented and spotless. The convenient location near top-rated restaurants in Charleston made the stay worthwhile, despite a few shortcomings.

I was pleased with the overall experience at this hotel. The rooms were nice and clean, although a bit noisy due to the proximity to the courtyard. The service was excellent, with a very friendly and helpful staff. The location was unbeatable, right in the heart of the historic district. However, the breakfast offering was a letdown, and the courtyard noise could disturb light sleepers.

The hotel had a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were a bit dated and musty but had a lovely balcony. The noise from the adjacent restaurant made sleeping challenging. The service was informative and helpful but could have provided more restaurant recommendations in advance. The location was ideal for exploring the historic area, with many attractions within walking distance. The dining experience was enjoyable, particularly the morning tart and courtyard ambiance. Overall, the hotel offered a unique blend of history and modernity with room for improvement in certain areas.

My stay at the Elliott House was a mixed experience. The hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms with nice beds and furniture, but I wished the price had been more budget-friendly and highlighted during booking. The service was welcoming and helpful, convincing us to extend our weekend stay, but the dining options were somewhat lacking. The location is fantastic for exploring historic Charleston, right off the bustling King Street, although it fell short of its full potential.

Rooms
